I recently signed up to receive a newsletter from the bedfordreport.com/Bedford Financial. Today, I received this pre-market update from them (see below):
The problem with this e-mail is that it's all lies. I checked the FDA web site, and it turns out that this "UV 400" product has been flagged as "fraudulent product" and has been "Uncleared for marketing" by the FDA. Please see the links below, and don't be suckered into this scheme!!

2. http://google2.fda.gov/search?q=uv+400&x=0&y=0&client=FDAgov&site=FDAgov&lr=&proxystylesheet=FDAgov&output=xml_no_dtd&getfields=*

Thanks for the info about the Bedford Group. Your posting saved me time investigating Bedford. And it prevented me from signing up for these "pump and dump" schemers.
I'm glad I could help Paul. Thanks for leaving a comment, and good luck investing!
I just checked bedford report website and did a search for uvft, uv tech, and uv 400. there is no report on file, so how did you come across, or make, this doc?
This document was e-mailed to me, and unless you really don't know how to use google, you would have come across dozens of posts like the one at this link: http://www.advfn.com/news_Complimentary-Analyst-Research-on-UV-Flu-Technologies-Inc-OTCBB-UVFT-Pfizer_43271257.html
I don't know why you can't find any reference to UVFT on their site-- maybe the scrub their site clean when their done with one scheme, and move on to the next. Try subscribing to their newsletter and research whatever "top picks" they send you. I'm sure history will repeat itself.
With brokerage fees so small, why aren't "pump and dump" stocks a good short-term investment?
If you know it is going to be pumped for a week or so, just ride it and get out after a reasonable profit, so you aren't around for the dump.
They are definitely pump and dumpers. They way they work is that they have research on their homepage that you sign up to get. The "research" are just reports from the company themselves that the company released some time ago and bedford downloaded. It isn't original from what I saw.
Then they call you and ask if you're interested in their new companies. So far I've tracked them for 2 years, and the three that they pumped have all gone through periods of inflation and then crashed. If you want to play that game, go right ahead. But know what you're getting into.
I had no idea how sophisticated these scammers are. They have entire teams of people calling you weekly for updates even before the company releases news (or sometimes right after, making it seem that they're "in" but in reality they're just watching yahoo news). Some of the companies, like AAPH, seem to be legit companies that may or may not even know that they're being pumped. From what I understand, however, the companies usually pay like $25k to Bedford Report to do marketing. That's essentially what is going on. That's why it is legal. It isn't pump and dump if they're just advertising... hah.
So far they're pumped:
AAPH, UVFT, NYXO and now STEV
This is something new which I come to know about E-mails with the help of you post. The screenshot given in this post helped me in understanding the problem. I want to know the solution of this problem. I hope I get that solution in your next post.
